Michigan Rugby will be hosting a one day clinic for any high school players looking to advance their skills over the summer. The clinic will be July 14th at Mitchell Field from 10:00am to 4:00pm. All clinics participants will receive lunch and a clinic t-shirt.
The clinic will expose players to drills used by Michigan as well as the USA national team. Players will get a chance to scrimmage and receive feedback from collegiate coaches and players during the first part of the day. Set piece and position specific coaching will be covered later in the day. Participants will also get to see what the student-athlete life at the University of Michigan is all about.
All players entering the 9th-12th grades as well as graduating seniors are invited to participate. The clinic fee is $75 if paid before July 1st ($90 after).Complete the registration form here. For more specific questions, contact Pete Melgren (pmelgren@umich.edu).
