On Saturday, March 22 a team of 12 University of Michigan Ruggers took a road trip down to Dayton Ohio to compete in 7s tournament hosted by University of Dayton. There were 6 teams in total competing in the tournament including Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame College, Dayton, Kent State, and Purdue. All members of the Michigan squad put in some great effort and performance that reflected the hard work and commitment being put in at practice and showed that they are ready to be considered top contenders. Throughout the whole tournament Michigan never gave up more than 10 points in one game. It was a full day of 7s and at the end of it all, Michigan was able to come out on top and bring a trophy back home, defeating the Notre Dame College in the championship match. Here’s the recap…
