After a grueling process that started back in January, the University of Michigan Rugby Football Club is excited to announce their roster for the Collegiate Rugby Championship.
The Spring saw the Wolverines start out with a bang by winning the Costa Rican 7s and Dayton 7s tournaments as well as finishing 2nd at the ACRL tournament in Notre Dame, falling to Indiana 31-41. After their early success their roster was decimated by injury as they limped to a gutty 3rd place finish in the Big Ten 7s Tournament despite missing six core players.
But now, as they emerge from a month long training camp to prepare for the CRC, they are healthy and gaining five of those six injured players back. The squad from U of M will be led by captain Zack Burns as they compete in Pool C against Arkansas State, UCLA, and Texas.
Roster:
- Matt Kasten (Sophomore)
- John Palladino (Senior)
- Andre Cargill (Junior)
- Jared Bosma (Senior)
- Chening Duker (Junior)
- Joel Conzelmann (Senior)
- Zack Burns (Junior)
- Cole Van Harn (Senior)
- Jesse Fenno (Junior)
- Sequoyah Burke-Combs (Senior)
- Jeremy Reid (Sophomore)
- Jordan Ulmer (Senior)
Pool Play Schedule:
10:20 – Arkansas State
12:20 – UCLA
2:20 – Texas
