Why Rugby?: Rugby is really very team orientated and I like that. It requires a great level of physical fitness and mental sharpness and I enjoy that, and I also enjoy competition in general.
What have you liked most about Michigan rugby the most so far?: I’ve really liked the teammates and coaches I’ve met and how much I’ve learned about this new and exciting sport.
Most memorable moment on the pitch?: My most memorable moment was when I first caught a kick. It was such an exhilarating feeling and I really fell in love with the game after that.
What’s your favorite rugby drill in practice? Least favorite?: My favorite Rugby drill is usually 2 on 1s or 3 on 2s because I enjoy the communication and creativity aspects of those drills. My least favorite is probably tackling drills.
What other sports have you played?: I have played football, lacrosse and bowling.
In five years what do you see yourself doing?: In five years I see myself being in law school or working on a local political campaign or in a local office.
What’re some embarrassing childhood memories you can share with us?: When I was younger I tried a surf simulator at a water park and fell. When I fell my bathing suit came completely off and a bunch of people were around including a cute female lifeguard.
Favorite place in Ann Arbor: The CCRB or my apartment
Biggest Fear?: My biggest fear is failure
Favorite food/meal?: Buffalo chicken
Any gamely superstitions?: No, not really
Favorite superhero and why?: Goku because he isn’t always the strongest, but uses hard work and pure effort to come out on top.
Best advice you’ve ever received?: More of a quote, but “character is who you are when no one is watching..
