Why did you decide to play rugby?
My brother played on a local team in the summer and I really enjoyed watching him play so I thought I would try it myself.
What have you liked about Michigan Rugby so far?
The support from my teammates on and off the pitch.
Describe your most memorable moment on the pitch.
The most memorable moment on the pitch would have to be when I scored my first try against illinois playing winger.
What’s your most favorite rugby drill in practice? Least favorite?
My favorite drill in practice is 1v1 in a grid because I can work on speed and agility to get past a defender.
What other sports have you played?
Soccer, Baseball and Wrestling.
What do you see yourself doing in five years?
Hopefully I would be doing something cool in emergency medicine.
What is an embarrassing childhood memory that you can share with us?
In my 7th grade Spanish class me and my friends duck taped each other to our chairs and the substitute said he was calling the principle, but he always fake called the principle so we thought he was lying. Five minutes later when the principle came to our classroom we learned that the substitute was not lying. Very bad day.
What is your favorite place in Ann Arbor?
I like going to BABS’ Underground to play pool and just hangout with friends.
What is your biggest fear?
Realizing that earth is just a simulation created by other intelligent species using us as an experiment.
What is your favorite food?
Piada avocado BLT.
Do you have any game-day superstitions? Explain.
I do not, but I always try to warm-up the same way so that I can get into a groove before each game.
Who is you favorite superhero and why?
Whatever Will Smith was in Hancock.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Think for yourself.
