Why did you decide to play rugby?
I played rugby Fall of freshman year to stay in shape for Football tryouts that winter. After I quit the football team the summer before my sophomore year, I decided to come back to rugby.
What have you liked about Michigan Rugby so far?
It’s fun to be surrounded by guys who embrace their own weirdness.
Describe your most memorable moment on the pitch.
Two moments stick out. My sophomore year we beat Purdue on a held up try as time expired. I remember kissing Fridge’s forehead, which maybe wasn’t the greatest choice. This past season my try off a maul against MSU during the Battle for the Mitten was a great moment for me because my whole family was able to see it.
