As you’ve probably already realized, Michigan Rugby’s spring season is cancelled. After the COVID-19 pandemic began to worsen, and after the University of Michigan cancelled all club sports activities through April 21, there were no other options. While it’s painful for us to lose out on our season, public safety is more important at this time.
Despite this setback, our players will continue to put in work as we prepare for the 2020 XVs season. We are finalizing the fall schedule at this moment.
To our seniors, whose college careers just ended in the worst way, thank you for everything you’ve done for this program over the last four years. Michigan Rugby is better for it.
