Why did you decide to play rugby?
It was an opportunity to be competitive and I get to hit people.
What have you liked about Michigan Rugby so far?
Being able to compete at a high level and the camaraderie.
Describe your most memorable moment on the field.
Scoring my first points on a drop kick when no one knew I kicked in high school.
What’s your most favorite rugby drill in practice? Least favorite?
Favorite: can jam; Least Favorite: the bronco
What other sports have you played?
Football, baseball, and golf
What do you see yourself doing in five years?
Grad school
What is an embarrassing childhood memory that you can share with us?
I crashed a golf cart and got it stuck in a ditch when I was about 10.

Slurping Turtle
What is your biggest fear?
Not reaching my goals
What is your favorite food?
Surf and turf
Do you have any game-day superstitions?
I have to listen to music during the warm up. If I have a good game, then I’ll do everything the same way the next game. When I was younger, I ate pretzels and pancakes before every football game because I played well after the first time I had it. I’ll wear the same shirt to warm up in too.
Who is your favorite superhero and why?
Spider-Man because I thought I was him when I was younger.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Don’t let anyone else judge you or your success.
