The Wolverines lost against the Spartans’ this Friday evening 25 -5. The first half started with the momentum swinging the Spartans’ way. Within the first 15 minutes of the game, the Spartans banked in two tries and ended the half with another holding a 15 – 0 lead. To open the second half, the Spartans and Wolverines held each other scoreless, until Carter Lyon banked in a try at the 54th minute of the game for a 15 – 5 score. However, the Spartans stayed persistent and scored two more tries to end the game with a 25 – 5 score.
The Wolverines also took on the Spartans’ second side and lost 27 – 12. The first half did not go the Wolverines’ way, ending the half with a 19 – 0 deficit. However, they came back to the second half strong, scoring an immediate try by Devin Riley off of an offload by Akeem Mucker for a 19 – 5 game. Further, with twenty minutes left on the clock, Devin Riley banked in another one and made the conversion to cut the lead to 10 with a 22 – 12 score. However, to end the game, the Spartans scored in another try for a final 27 – 12 finale.
