Why did you decide to play rugby?
I started playing rugby during Covid so I could stay active and get out of the house. It turned into an opportunity to learn a new sport and compete against others.

Michigan Rugby has allowed me to find like-minded people who are united by purpose and are committed to advancing our shared goals.
Describe your most memorable moment on the field.
My most memorable moments on the field come from seeing my teammates like Ty and Joe break lines and score. With their bit of skill it allows me to perform in the clutch. Notre Dame and Ohio State victories are gonna stick with me for a long time.
What’s your most favorite rugby drill in practice? Least favorite?
My most favorite rugby drill is a 3 on 2 edge drill training for 7s defense. My least favorite would be the Wolverine; it is rough on my injured body.
What other sports have you played?
I have played soccer and baseball. I do fancy myself as a versatile athlete for any sport.
What do you see yourself doing in five years?
I see myself working in a design related field after getting a master’s degree. I am a maker so I will be trying to make some parts of peoples life better through good design. Beyond work I don’t see myself changing too much, besides finding activities that will not put my body in harms way.
What is an embarrassing childhood memory that you can share with us?
My first introduction to rugby was my 8th birthday party, where local coaches came out and taught us the basics. Lets just say I could have juked any of my teammates now, even back then.

What is your biggest fear?
“I only fear god and my mama” – Drake

Do you have any game-day superstitions? Explain.
I just try to stay as calm as possible for when I play. But when my professional sports team play, I must pet my dogs after each good play for good luck.
Who is your favorite superhero and why?
My favorite superhero is Deadpool, because he’s Ryan Reynolds and that super heroes should be allowed to curse.
