Saturday September 28th saw the Wisconsin Badgers come to town for parents weekend. In what is becoming a common theme of Wisconsin-Michigan games, the game was played on rain soaked pitch, with yet more rain pouring on and off throughout the game. The sloppy conditions saw a game with a high amount of errors and plenty of scrums. Loosehead prop Zach Small used this to his advantage and drove the Badgers scrum back multiple times, winning two scrum penalties.
Despite these victories, the Wolverine defense conceded a high penalty count, including a yellow card. The Badgers capitalized on these errors and put up 29 points, including multiple breakaway tries, often started by darting runs from the Wisconsin Halfback. The game remained close throughout, but Wisconsin eventually pulled away to leave the final scoreline 29-12.
