What was your favorite memory as a member of the club?
There’s so many to choose from: being picked up for my first game without ever going to a practice, my first olde boys weekend, and my CRC appearances. But I was fortunate enough to go to Wellington, NZ and play with Poneke. That summer gave me so much in terms of rugby knowledge, cultural experience, and lifelong friendships that it earns my favorite memory.
Did you receive any special honors as part of the club
I received Big Ten Honors as well as Assistant Captain my final year.
What are you doing now?
Living in Seattle playing professional rugby for the Seattle Seawolves.
Any other interesting stories?
During the CRC, coach Matt Trenary’s on-air jab at a famous rugby coach was so subtle that we were the only ones who caught his savagery.
