When did you play?
1999 – 2003 (and was generally known as “Bender” – half the guys I played with didn’t know my given name).
What position did you play?
Primarily Social Chair (also lock and occasionally flanker).
What was your favorite memory as a member of the club?
Spring break tour of Trinidad & Tobago in 2002. One day we lounged all day on the most beautiful beach I had ever been to and that night I won more money than I’d ever won before, gambling at the shadiest casino I’ve (still) ever been to.
Did you receive any special honors as part of the club
Yes, but none that merit detail on the internet.
What are you doing now?
I am a corporate attorney in Los Angeles where I live with my wife and two kids. Still living the dream though, in that I get to hang out with UMRFC pals also living in SoCal on a weekly basis.
Any other interesting stories?
Plenty, but again, the internet…..
