Wolverines Lose to Notre Dame 34 – 10

In our second away game of the preseason, the Wolverines rode to South Bend, IN to face the Fighting Irish. After a grueling first half, the Fighting Irish took a 10 – 0 lead, including an amazing tackle made by Brendan Nell to save a try. The Irish grew their head to 34 – 0 through a strong lineup and continued Michigan penalties. However, at the 65th minute, Braden Loughnane scored his third try of the season, and Tim Zamarro, inside the 22m line, scored his second try of the season to finish the game 34 – 10.

The Wolverines’ Second side also took on the Fighting Irish with a 63 – 0 final score favoring the Irish.
