Why did you decide to play rugby?
The decision was virtually a no-brainer. I was approached with the oppurtunity to join a program deeply rooted in brotherhood – how could I have said no?
What have you liked about Michigan Rugby so far?
The teamwide camaraderie has been inspirational. Within the first month, I have establish a foundation of people that I am blessed to call friends.
Describe your most memorable moment on the field
My very first game against Adrian put me up against 300 pound men. It was memorable in the most disenchanting light: those boys ate me up.
What’s your most favorite rugby drill in practice? Least favorite?
Any drill that is light in conditioning has a special place in my heart. That being said, I do not have a favorite. A least favorite, however, is easy: the Wolverine.
What other sports have you played?
I have only played soccer.
What do you see yourself doing in five years?
I am still trying to figure that out. Regardless, I am positive that I will be enjoying myself. That’s all I can promise.
What is an embarrassing childhood memory that you can share with us?
I ripped my cargo shorts playing kickball.

Choking on food

Do you have any game-day superstitions? Explain.
Before each game I like to “photosynthesize” and try to absorb the Sun’s energy.
Who is your favorite superhero and why?
Spiderman, but primarily for his girlfriend.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Make time for the things you love.
