Sues was widely regarded as the favorite at the beginning of the tournament, and while they never led our power rankings, they delivered on that hype when it mattered.
In contrast to Round 4, Round 5 had a slew of entertaining games. Dudes finally lost, and Ross finally won. Dudes vs. Sues came down to the final minute. Looking ahead, four teams remain in the race for the Intrasquads title.
Intrasquads Round 4 featured a spate of blowouts; only one game was decided by less than 25 points. While it resulted in less exciting rugby, it did provide clarity on which teams are legit contenders for the title.
After Intrasquads Round 1, we listed Jones as the the worst team in our power rankings. Two weeks later, Jones looks like a legitimate championship contender. The race for the title is more open than ever.
Intrasquads Round 2 ended with a bang, as frontrunner Dudes outlasted top challenger Sues in a thriller to close the night. Despite the excitement on the field, there wasn’t a single change in the standings this week.
