Michigan Rugby would like to welcome you to the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor. We look forward to hosting you for some competitive rugby and a positive gameday experience.

Directions to Mitchell Field:
Mitchell Field is located at 1900 Fuller Rd, Ann Arbor, MI.

Do not try to access the fields from Gallup Park Pathway. This is a bike path, not a road.

Amenities


The Mitchell Field Rec Sports Building is located inside the blue oval in the above image. Amenities are all accessible from outside the building and are as follows:

  • Men’s, Women’s, and a gender-neutral restroom are located on the
    south-west side of the building. All are handicap accessible.
  • We have running water at two locations. Directly in the middle of the building, there is a tunnel with a water fountain and a bottle refill station. On the west side of the building, there is a spigot.
  • The office is located on the south-east side of the building with a counter staffed by Recreational Sports department employees. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask rec sports staff.
  • An athletic trainer will be available for both sides. Please bring your own supplies and ask for any pre-game taping as early as possible.
  • Food will be provided for visiting 15s sides toward the end of the matches.

Directions to the emergency room
The U-M Hospital emergency room is located at 1500 E Medical Center Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48109

  1. Turn left out of the Mitchell Field parking lot, heading west on Fuller Road.
  2. Turn left heading south on East Medical Center Drive. This is the next traffic light after the Mitchell Field light.
  3. You should arrive at the ER entrance shortly. It is located on your right with a giant sign that says Emergency. Total transit time should be less than 5 minutes.
